This article walks you through withdrawing your KuCoin Tokens (KCS) to your Metamask Wallet that has been set to work on the KCC-Mainnet Network. If you haven’t setup Metamask yet to work with KCC-Mainnet, please go to this link and follow the instructions.
KuCoin Token (KCS) is the native token of the KuCoin Community Chain. It serves as the gas for this network so you need some KCS in your Metamask wallet in order to make any transactions. You can buy KCS on KuCoin Exchange. If you haven’t done so, make an account on KuCoin Exchange and buy some KCS.
Please follow the following steps in order to withdraw your KCS to your Metamask wallet:
Step 1: On KuCoin Exchange, Go to the Assets Menu and go to Main Account (Deposit and Withdraw).
Step 2: Select the Withdraw menu button.
Step 3: Pick KCS from the dropdown list
Step 4: Select the KCC network.
Step 5: Copy your wallet address from Metamask
Step 6: Go back to the Withdraw page on Kucoin and paste your input your wallet and the amount you wish to withdraw.
Step 7: Hit Confirm and go through the verification process.
Step 8: Check your Metamask wallet.
Congratulations! You have transferred your KCS tokens from the KuCoin Exchange to your Metamask wallet that is set to work with KCC-Mainnet. You can now interact with DApps and buy and sell on exchanges on the KuCoin Community Chain.
